EVENT: Youth Focus Group at Earth Force on March 24March 14, 2012 - What: An exciting opportunity for youth from around northeast Denver to come together and discuss health and education in this community When: March 24, 10am-2pm Where: Earth Force 135 Park Ave. West, Denver, CO Who: Any interested youth in Northeast Denver Cost: FREE Earth Force, ProjectVOYCE, GRID and Civic Canopy are bringing together youth in NE Denver to discuss health and education in this community. Students will devise strategies to improve education and student engagement in it. They will learn how to conduct health intervention surveys to assess community realities and perceptions of food access and security. Issues of safety, transportation, and access to recreation will also be discussed. This project is being supported by the Denver Foundation, and is in part being funded by the Colorado Health Foundation and Livewell.
