Students Participate in GM Earth Day and Mission Clean Stream

April 24, 2012 - GM GREEN students in Wentzville, MO, had a busy two weeks. Students participated in a GM Earth Day celebration at the Wentzville assembly plant with festivities that included a Kite Flying, Sun And Soil Painting, Stream Trash Art, Water Play Activity, Stream Team Display and much more!

The next weekend, they helped out with Mission Clean Stream, in a major stream clean-up to help restore the Peruque, McCoy and Dardenne Creek Watersheds. These streams are important to the health of the Wentzville and support a variety of wildlife and land uses from agriculture to recreation and industry.

Great work by all the students in Wentzville!
