Earth Force is excited to announce our upcoming Youth Summit, scheduled for Monday, June 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the World Environment Day celebration at Wilson High School in Washington, DC (view map). DC middle school students will gather at the Youth Summit to share and celebrate their environmental and civic action projects, and enjoy a day of hands-on learning! We are pleased to be a World Environment Day partner, and we look forward to students sharing their action projects on a world stage, since DC is the North American host city for this worldwide event.
This year's Youth Summit participants are entrants in the Caring for Our Watersheds contest, sponsored by Agrium, which asks students to answer the question, "What can you do to improve your watershed?" Finalists will make judged presentations at the Youth Summit to win up to $1,000! Find out more on the contest website. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to kmoser@earthforce.org no later than May 25, 2012.
