DC Caring for Our Watersheds Finalists Announced!

2011 Caring for Our Watersheds winners from Langdon Education Campus celebrate at the DC Youth Summit.

The following entries from Washington, DC were selected as finalists in the Caring for Our Watersheds contest. Sponsored by Agrium, the contest asks middle school students to propose a solution to the question, "what can you do to improve your watershed?" The ten finalist classrooms will present their project proposals at the Earth Force Youth Summit on June 4 before a second panel of judges. Finalists receive awards from $300 up to $1000 for the winning proposal.

Join us Monday, June 4 at the World Environment Day event at Wilson High School and see what young people can to to improve the environment and their communities!
