James Island students share a year’s worth of activities for the environment
Throughout the past year, several James Island schools have taken a proactive approach in helping to enhance and beautify their local neighborhoods while also learning about the environment and sharing that knowledge with their neighbors.
“The youth in James Island want to be involved in making their community a better place. Once you give them the power to choose an issue that means something to them, it is incredible the change they can affect. We are so proud of all the work they have done,” said Stacey Rafalowski, Earth Force Senior Program Manager.
