Students from Bailey Junior High Present to City OfficialsJune 28, 2012 - Michelle Leverette's students from Bailey Junior High decided it was important to share the information they collected through their investigation of lake water in Pappy Elkins Park with city officials. Six students took time during summer vacation to prepare a PowerPoint and rehearse. They presented their findings and action plan to the City Council on June 21st. All the councilmembers seemed to be very impressed. The students have volunteered to meet with Ms. Leverette's classes after school next year to help guide them through the GREEN process. |
