Executive Director of the Green Bronx Machine Honored with Chevrolet GREEN Educator Award

Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz presents Stephen Ritz with the Chevrolet GREEN Educator Award

January 18, 2013 - Stephen Ritz, the Founder of Green Bronx Machine, was honored with the Chevrolet GREEN Educator Award on December 10, 2012.

The Hunts Point Alliance for Children hosted the event in Bronx, NY. Community members gathered, including Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, US Green Building Council (USGBC) President Rachel Gutter, a representative from Earth Force, and General Motors.

During the ceremony, the USGBC also announced Ritz's new role as the national ambassador for Green Apple Day of Service.
