June 9, 2011 - The Clinton River Watershed Council in Rochester, Michigan had it's final water monitoring event of the season on Monday, with a beautiful day and 150 students at the Watershed Council's new location on the Clinton River amongst woods, prairies and wetlands.

L'Anse Creuse North Middle School students and teachers took part in chemical, physical and biological surveys of the river's tributaries, with mentors Mary Walker, Tom Jones, Peter Maltese and Calvin Samuelson there to guide students in tasks like measuring water flow and identifying bugs for stream health.

Thanks to Jeremy Geist, Michele Arquette-Palermo and all the Clinton River Watershed Council staff for their continued support for GREEN!
