Her key research interests include ecotoxicology and tropical rain forest and aquatic systems ecology. She currently has ecotoxicology research projects on Galveston Bay, the Texas Gulf coast and the Rio Negro in Brazil.
Cindy supports the GBWAP by providing expertise on developing protocols for ecological studies and as a knowledgeable resource on water quality, wildlife, and environmental issues related to the Galveston Bay Estuary System.
