GBWAP Students get to work at ANWR!

GBWAP students spent the day at the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge on the Eastern shores of Galveston Bay. In the morning, the students toured the world renowned refuge identifying resident and migratory birds and other wildlife.

For the second half of the day students worked with Stephanie Martinez, a USFWS employee, on expanding and improving the butterfly gardens at the refuge.
