House of Mercy Students Bring New Life to their Neighborhood

They planted flowers and trees in the park and they sold flowers to people in their neighborhood to plant at their houses. They had a speaker from the local Earth Force office come to talk to them about local birds and how to identify them. These students then proceeded to explore their neighborhood to find out what birds lived in the area and then they got birdhouses and painted them to provide nesting areas for the birds. They have also been going around their neighborhood to pick up litter. Their next step is to find people to adopt the trees they planted so that they will continue to be taken care of.
