We began by researching on the internet any information regarding these animals, and we found that there are various websites that are dedicated to helping animals. We figured that most people do not have time or the patience to go looking for this information. We decided to make a user friendly website in which we provide local shelters and links to various websites. It is easy to navigate, and we wanted to make sure people became aware of it.

Various veterinary offices were eager to have pamphlets, business cards, and magnets to distribute to their patients. Pet owners would be the most eager to help these injured animals because they are more animal oriented. We were able to successfully target them but then we thought that most of the drivers in South Florida would be the elderly. The easiest way to reach out to them would be to hand out pamphlets at a doctor’s office. We found a busy medical center that was happy to help our cause, and we distributed our pamphlets, business cards, and magnets at the office.

As a result of our efforts, our website has become a great success. We receive many views to our website daily, and we feel as if we were able to reach our target audience that consists of pet owners and the elderly. We have received emails about our website and it is filled of praise of it. We feel as if the more people find out about our website, the more impact it will have on the animal population. People will be more willing to help out those animals in need if they have the right information to go about. Our website provides all the necessary tools to help the animals in need and we could not be any happier.
