Pottsgrove Middle holds "Get Green Day" festival

Pottsgrove Middle School held its first annual Get Green Day Saturday, March 17, 2007. This free environmental awareness festival featured student presentations on environmental issues, carnival games on environmental topics, face painting, raffles, community yard sale and a recycled art contest. In a survey conducted by Pottsgrove students, the majority of the over 500 participants had fun while learning about the importance of the environment, and believed they would change some of their behavior to have a more positive impact on the environment.
