Virginia's State Farm Insurance and Capital Region Earth Force (CREF) formally announced their new partnership on Monday, August 13, 2007. In addition to their financial contribution to CREF's service learning program, State Farm will be engaged in the classrooms and with the educators of Earth Force schools. The new State Farm partnership will increase the students' access to community stakeholders and expand their network within their watersheds in Northern Virginia. “In order for our GREEN students to create sustainable solutions to local water quality problems, it is important that they receive input from the community,” says Capital Region Earth Force Executive Director Jennifer McDonnell. “We are thrilled to have State Farm Insurance join the GREEN partner network and support us this coming year.”
