Featured Funder: The Quick Foundation!

Date: 23 Oct 2007

The Edmund T. and Eleanor Quick Foundation is a small private foundation, created by Mary Eleanor Quick in honor of her husband, Edmund T. Quick. Both of them were down-to-earth folks, who earned their living farming and ranching dry arid property east of the Denver metro area. As Denver, and then Aurora, continued to grow, their real estate holdings became desired for future development. They were both religious people who always thought of others and the Quick Foundation will continue their legacy for years to come.

The Edmund T. and Eleanor Quick Foundation made a generous grant of $2,500 to support FrontRange Earth Force's Science and Environmental Stewardship Project. Thanks to the Foundation's support, we are able to conduct science-related service learning in key schools throughout Denver, including long-time partner sites Mitchell Elementary, Pinnacle Charter School, Gilpin K-8 and more!

The Quick Foundation's support makes possible such critical and effective learning excursions as our water-quality testing trips to Heron Pond, and important celebratory events like the Annual Youth Summit at the Denver Zoo each spring.

The Quick Foundation is a private foundation benefiting general charitable groups in the State of Colorado. The Foundation supports a wide variety of concerns and causes. You can learn more about the Quick Foundation by visiting its website at www.quickfoundation.org.
