The Councilwoman's district includes Maria Mitchell Elementary, where participants in the Summer Scholars program created a beautiful mural this summer for our 10 for 10 Challenge. Councilwoman Madison was a supporter of our 10 for 10 Challenge Anniversary Celebration, and attended the event on September 27. She was very impressed with the murals, particularly the one from Mitchell Elementary, which celebrates this them, chosen by the students themselves: "Be The Change You Want To Be In The World!"

The Open House will take place at Councilwoman Madison's office at 2713 Welton St. in Five Points, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Stop by to meet the Councilwoman and her staff - and to check out the Mitchell Elementary 10 for 10 Challenge Mural!
