After learning more about campus issues such as erosion, stormwater drainage problems and energy use, students in Ms. Durkee’s Earth Force Club decide to create an energy patrol. They have come up with a slogan, mission statement and logo for their energy campaign. Presentations created to energize students about conservation are being designed and will be presented to all students in a student assembly.
Community partners include: Michael Harrison, Environmental Program Manager; Don Miller, Climate Change Messenger; and the Energy Conservation Dept., Hillsborough County Schools.
