The award, which is made possible through Earth Force’s partnership with Staples, INC, recognizes youth working to make a difference in their community by serving as active environmental citizens.
“The Staples Earth Force Award acknowledges influential youth responding to environmental challenges facing their local communities,” said Joy Errico, director of Staples Foundation for Learning. “By recognizing these students, we hope to inspire more youth to take action within their neighborhoods and make a positive impact on the environment.”
The Staples Earth Force Award 2008 recognized Jr. PLEWA, Erie and Claysville Elementary School, Claysville.
