Trees, Trees, Trees

Tree Planting was the project goal for Natalie Christensen’s class. The students investigated the importance of trees, types of native trees and their importance, the difference between deciduous and coniferous trees, and how to plant and care for a tree. After completing their investigation, the class planted several Silky Dogwood trees on the school grounds. Taking what they had learned, they educated the kindergarten students about trees and then gave each of the younger students a tree to plant at home.
