Karson Merrill, a student from Ms. Leacock’s 2007-2008 Earth Force class at Maniscalco Elementary in Lutz, Florida, was recently interviewed by Elena Cabral of Scholastic News Magazine. Ms. Cabral wanted a student’s perspective for an article for the September 29th , issue on what voters should be concerned with in the candidates’ platforms for the November 4th Presidential Elections. Karson felt very strongly that voters should look at how each candidate planned to protect the environment. She states, “We only have one… Earth. We need to take care of it.”
Spoken like a true Earth Force student, way to go Karson.
