Erie is offering a new program called "Summer of Service" at different sites with six different groups for youth (grades 6-9). The youth will learn about their community and the environmental problems we face.
The young people will complete service projects in their own communities: stenciling storm drains, starting community gardens, picking up litter, educating neighbors on the need for trees in the city etc.
