The Virginia Naturally Meaningful Watershed Education Experiences Grants are sponsored by the Virginia Resource Use Education Council, the Department of Environmental Quality and the Department of Conservation and Recreation. These grants provide teachers with small amounts of money for environmental education. Any school or school division is encouraged to apply for a grant of $500, $750 or $1,000 for the purpose of conducting meaningful outdoor experiences with their students.

Do Something Grants awards $500 grants to change-makers and potential community leaders age 18 and under who identify problems in their communities, and then create game plans to do something to change their world. Young people can apply on their own behalves, or on behalf of a group or team.
The Chesapeake Bay Trust awards grants for $2,000 and less for schools that will be implementing projects that involve the community, the school and have a positive impact on the Chesapeake Bay. This grant does not have a deadline! This means that you can apply at any point during the year.
