Derrick Wilson is the founder and chief executive of Wilson Technologies, Inc. Mr. Wilson heads one of the most progressive IT firms in the metropolitan Washington region with more than 13 years of experience in designing, configuring, installing, and supporting networks and other IT products and services, meeting the needs of clients in both the private sector and in local and federal governments. Headquartered in Washington, DC, WTI’s clients include Eli Lilly and Company, Anne Arundal County Government, D.C. Government, Prince Georges County Government, Earth Force and a host of others.

Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Derrick Wilson graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School. Mr. Wilson continued his education at the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology in 1989. His studies included concentrations in Electronics and Computer Technology and Business Management. Mr. Wilson is active in his community and participates in civic association activities, college alumni activities, is president of an AAU Boys Basketball Team Organization and serves as a volunteer with the D.C. Jail.
