Next Steps, Powered by Earth Force

Our mission is to facilitate resource sharing within hands-on, inquiry-based STEM learning communities.

Next Steps works to ensure the next generation has access to an education that prepares them to be scientifically literate, critical thinkers that have the tools and skills to accept the challenge of expanding STEM opportunities.

The adage that 'it takes a village' is true and we create a platform for the village to develop a strong STEM community, committed to hands-on and minds-on learning.

Next Steps works to ensure educators have the tools to deliver high quality learning experiences before, during and after the school day that actively engage students.

We are committed to:

  • Providing inquiry-based professional development through annual programs such as the Next Step Institute
  • Supporting effective materials management, as we believe students learn by doing and they need the hands-on, minds-on tools to do so
  • Promoting 21st century skills through STEM partnerships, partnerships among diverse stakeholders allow us to better develop students' critical thinking, scientific literacy and curiosity. The organization has a 20-year history of providing quality professional development, materials management, and cutting edge educational methods for educators, and is responding to meet 21stcentury challenges.
