Since 2003, Capital Region Earth Force has provided award-winning professional development materials, training and support for the GREEN program to Earth Force educators throughout the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Our work has grown immensely in the region due to a high demand for watershed education programs that provide a Meaningful Watershed Education Experience (MWEE) as mandated by the Chesapeake 2000 Agreement. Learn more about our local program offerings for area educators.

Arlington students win a Presidential Environmental Youth Award!

The mid-Atlantic region’s 2007 President’s Environmental Youth Award was given to the Arlington H-B Woodlawn Secondary Program sixth grade students after a one day effort in which they collected 443 items — computer monitors, televisions, cell phones and even a rock tumbler!
