Meet Curriculum Requirements
Earth Force programs meet curriculum requirements for multi-disciplinary and service-learning projects, and address the new Pennsylvania Academic Standards for “Environment and Ecology,” as well as the standards for “Reading,” “Writing,” “Listening and Speaking,” and “Science and Technology.” All of our teacher materials include the state standards infused with each lesson.
Enhance Your Professional Development
For educators attending our training workshops, Earth Force is approved to grant Act 48 professional development hours. For students, the Earth Force framework builds youth leadership, citizenship and community problem solving skills. To help with the process, your local Earth Force office offers a wealth of resources and guidance, including nationally recognized teacher plans and student materials.
