Funding Partners Who Give $25,000 and up

  • Colorado Department of Education

The Colorado Department of Education funds many of our most effective programs. Funding from this generous partner currently supports our service-learning programs in several North Denver schools, including a school-wide service learning initiative at Mitchell K-6, as well as the Innovations in Civic Learning Teacher Teams at Centennial K-8 and Edison Elementary in Northwest Denver.

  • CDPHE Tony Grampsas Youth Services

The Tony Grampsas Youth Services Program at CDPHE is a significant supporter of our after-school Student Leadership Action Councils. Thanks to this funding, we were able to support 16 Action Councils in local schools in the 2005-06 school year - the first of three years of work funded by Tony Grampsas Youth Services.

  • The Corp. for National & Community Service

Funding from the Corporation comes to us through our long-time education partner, Regis University's Institute for the Common Good. This support makes possible our intensive efforts in Northwest Denver to engage students, their families and other community members in community service and events. Our amazing Community Ambassadors - motivated young people committed to community service and outreach throughout Northwest Denver - are the driving force behind those efforts, guided by FR Earth Force staff person Tracy Vlnicka.

  • The Daniels Fund

The Daniels Fund supports our Youth Engagement Initiative in local K-6 schools, including: Gilpin, Harrington, Swansea, Fairmont, Mitchell, Centennial and Bryant-Webster. Support from the Daniels Fund has allowed us to form successful Youth Leadership Action Councils at most of these schools during the 2005-06 school year, and will allow us to support those Action Councils during 2006-07 and form new Action Councils, as well.

  • National Service Learning Exchange

Thanks to support from the National Service Learning Exchange, a project of the National Youth Leadership Council, FrontRange Earth Force offers support and technical assistance to service learning practitioners throughout a nine-state region. We act as the Southwest Regional Center for the National Service Learning Exchange, managing a network of dozens of experience service learning Peer Mentors.

  • Scientific and Cultural Facilities District

SCFD supports great FrontRange Earth Force work in Denver, Arapahoe, Jefferson and Adams Counties. This funding makes possible our very successful environmentally-focused student projects, including trail-building in Arvada, wildlife habitat development in Denver and "green classroom" building in Federal Heights.

  • State Farm Companies Foundation

The State Farm Companies Foundation has been a long-time and enthusiastic supporter of quality service learning programs across the nation. We are happy to be one of the many fine organizations to benefit from their financial partnership, which supports our Community Action & Problem-Solving process throughout local schools.
