Deborah Currier, Office Manager

Deborah is responsible for FR Earth Force office functions, including office administration, bookkeeping, human resources, data management and more. She is a part-time member of our staff, and owns her own business providing medical and therapuetic massage therapy.

 Liz Henry, Director of Resource Development and Service Learning Liason

After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a BA in Spanish, Liz moved to Colorado and received her teaching certification from the University of Denver. She then spent three years teaching 3rd and 5th grade English Language Learners in Northwest Denver. Liz earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on Urban/Multicultural Education, from the University of Denver. Having implemented the CAPS process with her students, Liz now supports teachers bringing service learning into the classroom.

Mary Loring, Grants Manager

Tashmesia Mitchell, Director of Programs and Service Learning Liason

Tashmesia Mitchell is a Colorado native with a background in science education. She taught secondary science for six years before joining Earth Force. Tashmesia completed her undergraduate studies in Atlanta, GA and is a Spelman College graduate. She has a BS in Biology. Her interests and inquisitive nature have afforded her the opportunity to further her education in the areas of education and anthropology at the University of Colorado – Denver.

Ana Soler, Executive Director

Ana has served as an outreach worker with runaway/homeless youth, a case manager with homeless families, a case manager with juvenile offenders, and as an English as a Second Language instructor. Before working for FrontRange Earth Force, she was the Director of Victim Services 2000, a national model program through the Office for Victims of Crime, administered through the Denver District Attorney’s Office, which improved services to victims on a network level in Denver, CO. She holds a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Colorado-Denver.

Tracy Vlnicka, Service Learning Liason

Tracy is a recent graduate of the University of Denver, where she earned a BS in Environmental Science. She has worked with FrontRange Earth Force since her first year in college, as the coordinator of the Youth Advisory Board and as a member of the Board of Directors. She was an Earth Force/Public Achievement coach at Cole Middle School, and coordinated the Clean Energy Campaign at DU during her time as a student.

Mary has served as a grant writer and program director in the Denver non-profit sector, and as a business owner and financial manager in a for profit setting. Before coming to Front Range Earth Force, Mary worked to improve the financial position of Sisters of Color United for Education, a health promotion organization in West Denver. From 1980 to 2000, Mary was a local leader in the movement to end violence against women; from direct service delivery as Co-Founder and Director of Ending Violence Effectively, to shaping policy as the Director of the Denver Sexual Assault Interagency Council.
