April 5, 2008            Exploring Watersheds --9:00 -3:00 pm
5 Act 48 hours. Introduction to watersheds. This insightful workshop explores the parts of a watershed and their functions and roles. Participants are provided with tools to bring watersheds to life in the classroom, using hands-on activities. Project WET activities are featured! Cost: $40 LOCATION: CCI Center – Pittsburgh PA

5 Act 48 hours. Project Learning Tree® is an award winning, multi-disciplinary environmental education program for educators and students in K-grade 12. PLT, a program of the American Forest Foundation, is one of the most widely used environmental education programs in the United States and abroad. Southwest PA Earth Force participants mark your calendars for our Annual Youth Summit at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. We’ve grown so much that we are having TWO Youth Summits. The K-4th grade Summit will be held Thursday April 17. The 5-8 grade Summit will be held the following day on Friday April 18. Southwest PA Youth Summit
