Youth Action Board

The Lowcountry Earth Force YAB is an opportunity for high school students to be apart of a youth leadership program to work with LEF to further our mission of engaging young people as active citizens who improve the environment and their communities now and in the future.

 

   

 

Currently comprised of 15 high school juniors and seniors from schools across the Lowcountry, these student-advocates care deeply for their environment and community and are interested in developing and participating in projects that help improve both of these areas.  

 

Meetings - Twice per month during evening hours. 

 

Location - Meetings rotate between Earth Fare in West Ashley & Whole Foods in Mount Pleasant. 

Meetings focus on expanding the projects currently in progress and developing new ideas for future projects.

Why should students join?
This is an excellent opportunity for students to become active citizens involved in their community and the environment, learn more about working in the nonprofit world, build their college applications, and make a lasting difference in their communities.
