Last spring, the students traveled to the County Center to ask the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to develop a dog park in the Lutz area. During the recent round of budget talks, Commissioner Hagan sought and received approval from the BOCC for $150,000 for the park’s construction. Plans of the park were also unveiled. More...

JS Robinson - Receives Gulf Guardian Award

The Gulf of Mexico Program recently announced that the J.S. Robinson Elementary School’s Suncoast Earth Force received a second place Gulf Guardian Award for 2005 in the Youth/Education Category for the “Suncoast Earth Force Water Helpers”. Judy Der and Chequittea Lumpkins received the award in Corpus Christi, TX on March 28th. Congratulations!
