Director of National Programs

Since joining Earth Force in 2002, Alyssa has focused on integrating environmental service-learning into various strategic partnerships around the country. Through the GM GREEN program, she has facilitated corporate and community-based organization partnerships focused on improving local watersheds through service-learning; she has engaged school districts interested in making environmental service-learning a cornerstone in their schools; and she has partnered with several univiersities investigating how to use service-learning strategies as part of their pre-service education coursework. Her role in those partnerships has involved providing extensive training and support as organizations incorporate service-learning into their core work. Alyssa graduated from the University of Minnesota's College of Natural Resources with a Bachelor of Science degree in Water Resources and is currently pursuing a master's degree in education.

Jan Sneddon

Director of Community-Based Partnerships

Jan joined Earth Force in October 2005 to manage the GM GREEN program in Indiana and Ohio. Since that time, her responsibilities have expanded to include GM GREEN programs in Louisiana, Texas, and Canada and overall partnership support for the entire GM GREEN program. Jan also works to facilitate partnerships with community-based organizations that are interested in incorporating Earth Force's service-learning model into their work. As part of the Earth Force National Staff, Jan serves to coordinate communication efforts throughout Earth Force. Jan has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Appalachian State University in North Carolina and a Masters of Science in Environmental Science from Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
