Built with educators. Proven with communities. Refined with evidence.
Partner with Earth Force to elevate your environmental learning and empower students to solve real, local problems.
Earth Force is a national non profit with over 30 years of experience partnering with school districts, youth-serving organizations, and educators to evolve student learning through Environmental Applied Civics (EAC). Our expertise is in the elements that make authentic civic engagement work: centering youth voice, building strong youth-adult partnerships, and creating resilient communities.
WHO WE ARE
WHO WE SERVE
School Districts
We partner with districts to drive student agency and civic engagement through strategic implementation and support.
Non-Profit Organizations
We partner with education and environmental focused organizations to deepen their programming by infusing Environmental Applied Civics.
Educators
We enable educators to strengthen their practice through ready-to-go resources, an Educator’s Guide, and access to a Community of Practice.
THE PROBLEM
Youth civic engagement is declining just as our environmental challenges demand more collaborative solutions. Many communities struggle to provide the tools and space students need to be involved in decision-making.
Earth Force fills that gap.
We created Environmental Applied Civics (EAC), an educational approach where youth partner with adults to identify a local environmental issue and work with community members to change policies or practices. Over 30 years, we have supported more than 220 organizations in integrating authentic EAC learning to enact deep systemic change.
FIELD STORIES
We work with educational and non-profit leaders to enhance their existing curriculum - building a systems-wide integration of effective youth-led civic learning.

From facts to application - why it matters
What happens when students stop just memorizing the three branches of government and start actually influencing them? In this episode of Field Chats, the Earth Force team discusses why "content knowledge" isn't enough to solve the climate crisis or rebuild civic trust.
